20 years of making magical children’s TV
I’ve spent over 20 years in the wonderful world of children’s programme making—10 years in-house at the BBC, followed by another decade freelancing.
I’m known as a go-to preschool expert, specialising in casting, producing, and directing. From finding the perfect little stars to directing on set, I make sure every project is child-friendly, creative, and bursting with energy.
My Experience
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats in children’s TV, which means I bring a unique mix of creativity, organisation, and care to every project.
I’ve worked as:
Producer / Director – shaping stories, running shoots, and making the magic happen on set
Casting Director / Casting Producer – finding and supporting brilliant young talent and their families
Edit Producer – shaping stories in the edit, crafting engaging narratives, and ensuring the final cut shines
All-round children’s TV problem solver – from the first idea to the final cut, I know what it takes to deliver
My specialist area is preschool, and I love casting children of all ages for a wide range of programmes—especially those magical early-years shows.
